London Mission Day is a unique hands-on mission experience to equip believers to share the gospel with confidence in the streets of London during the Logos Hope visit in London. This event is ideal for individuals, church groups, and young people who want to grow in confidence in evangelism and take a step into active mission.

In the morning, participants will receive biblical teaching and practical tools to help them share their faith naturally and effectively. In the afternoon, they will be sent out in teams to engage with people across the streets of London putting what they’ve learned into action.

The heart of Mission Day is simple: to empower believers to live missionally and boldly share the message of Jesus.

Training Module Overview

Evangelism: participants will be able to scripturally understand and clearly and confidently present the gospel and have developed some basic skills in presenting the gospel through a variety of methods, to a range of people.

Biblical basis of Missions: participants will be able to understand the purpose of missions; the biblical foundation for missions; evangelism amongst different world faiths; how to understand, assess and contextualise evangelism in a different culture.

Food

We will offer a light refreshment and lunch. Please let us know of any food allergies or special dietary requirements.

Travel

People should make their own way to Manor Park Christian Centre, 454 High St N, London, E12 6RH either by driving or public transport to arrive at the venue by 10am. 

Health

Participants should be in average good health. If you think this requirement rules you out, talk to us and we will see what adjustments we may be able to make for you.

Notes 

Individuals applying must be 18 or over. Under 18's are welcome to apply but must have parental consent and be accompanied by a responsible adult (youth leader/parent/guardian). One adult can be responsible for up to 10 under 18s.
