What is an OM Mission Coach?

Whether you’re thinking about a short-term outreach trip with Operation Mobilisation, or joining OM somewhere for a year or more, Mission Coaches are OM workers who are on call to answer your questions and help you think it through.

It’s just a phone call; no forms to fill in or requirements to fulfil. We just want to offer a sounding board and an opportunity for you to ask questions as you prayerfully seek a way forward in how you sense God is calling you. 

Who are our OM Mission Coaches and how can they help?

You’ll be talking to people with a wealth of experience in mission work themselves (in either short-term trips or longer-term teams), so they can understand where you are coming from and can offer good advice. Whether you have a practical question about the application process, want to ask about certain team options, or just want to sense how God is leading you, Mission Coaches can help.

Scheduling a call with an OM Mission Coach

Scheduling a phone call is easy, just give us a call on 01691 773388 and ask to be put in touch with either the short-term team or long-term team who will assist you with fixing a good time for a longer chat. Please note, we do offer calls out of office hours but these have limited availability.

 Once the call is scheduled, we’ll phone you on your number at the day and time you prefer.

Before the call

It can help to be able to jot down a few things before the call, please let us know when booking if there is anything specific you want to discuss. You don’t have to, but it helps us prepare better.

After the call

A single call may be all you want or need, but if you need a bit more, we can schedule another call or even a video call over Zoom or similar.

How is God calling you?

Mission Coaches are just ordinary people who are good at listening and are ready to help you with your mission call. We can help you explore how your gifts, experience and passions can be used for God's glory. It might be 20 minutes which makes a big difference, so why not give us a call and see where it takes you?
