South Korea- Be a Global Friend BGF exists to build friendships with international students in Busan and share the good news of Jesus! Do you want to share your faith with people of various nationalities and become a vessel of God to accomplish God’s great commandments in your daily life? Then this BGF is for you! It will give you an insight of God’s Mission. Through BGF Korea, you'll be able to participate in the Global Friends Centre’s ministry in Busan as well as with local ministries and churches. You can get a wider perspective of God's Mission better through joining the 3-month programme. Dates & Cost Dates Apply by Spring option 24 March - 21 June 2025 28 January 2025 Autumn option 29 September - 27 December 2025 31 July 2025 Cost £2,720 (excluding flights, airport transfer, insurance and any necessary vaccinations) Ages 18+ Suitable for Ministry Details • Discipleship Programme: We will radically experience God and be transformed through learning what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and reach out to the least-reached people with the Gospel. • Spiritual Growth: We will spend time with God, studying and reading the Bible, praying and asking for guidance to live for Him and in understanding of what it means to be a Christian. • Cross-cultural Community life: We live in a vibrant cross-cultural community of many nations from around the world, learning how to understand each other and grow together in God. • Evangelism & Outreach: We will put together a programme to encourage, equip and empower you to effectively share the Gospel and make disciples. Focused on ministry in the university for international students who have not heard about God's love, we focus on building friendships with International students and their families, sharing the Good News, involved in an English Worship service, outreach in the University and running an English camp with kids. Participant Profile As a participant, you need to: Have a relationship with Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour Have a love for Jesus and a desire to share your faith Have a joyful heart to work together in teams. Be flexible and have willingness to work as a team Have at least conversational English language ability Have an open mind to people of other faith and cultures Have good physical and spiritual health You will need to read 2 books recommended by us before you go - please ask for details Accommodation Accommodation will be provided. Food Depending on schedule, meals will be provided. Travel You have to arrange your own flights to and from Gimhae airport, South Korea, where the BGF will happen. Pick up & drop off at Gimhae airport will be provided. Health Participants must be generally in good health. Please advise us of any medical issues we should be aware of and/or dietary restrictions. Each participant is responsible to obtain appropriate emergency health and medical insurance. Visa British citizens do not require a visa to enter South Korea for less than 90 days.
